Anyone can pick up a camera these days and shoot some footage. But do you aspire to be able to shoot incredible footage, ellicit great cast performances and construct a potentially award-winning movie?
The team on suspended... have been working professionally in the Australian and International film industry for many years - some of us for over 20 years. We've worked with acclaimed actors, director, writers, cinematographers and film technicians. From Oscar-winning artists, such as Nicole Kidman, to blockbuster directors & producers, like George Lucas & Steven Spielberg.
We've all learnt along the way that the best film school is being on a live set. That's when all the things you've read, learnt in class, or watched on behind-the-scenes clips come to life.
suspended... will include a wide array of filmmaking experiences, from working with special effects such as rain and lightning bolts, VFX of elevated bodies and lightning in scenes, filming with child casts, veteran actors, stunts, period costume, hair and make-up and stylised film lighting, lensing and filming on the newest cameras.
All of these things can be experienced and learnt alongside director Damian Walshe-Howling and the crew of suspended...
Don't expect a walk in the park though - we will expect you to work hard, act like a professional and be committed to helping us achieve our vision.

NB: Transport to and from your home city and Byron Bay is at the winner's expense. Ballina or Coolangatta/Gold Coast airports are closest. Production will provide transport to and from local airport.
